It’s that time of year again when I like to look back and realise I’ve not achieved barely anything i set out to do at the start of the year and make yet another list of things that i want to do but don’t have time to find to do them (sounds pointless but i did at least manage to launch my blog so i actually ticked one major thing off my list even if it did take me the entire year to actually do it!)
So this year my goals are,
- To carry on building the blog
- To decorate the house
- To sort out the lower garden to a child friendly area
- To recommence my Clubbercise lessons
- To survive Harper’s surgery and 3 months of her in a hip spica case
- To improve my posture
- To make sure i spend at least one activity a week doing something for me
- To drink more frozen lime margaritas …
Quite a lot there but all things that i think are achievable, the thing I’m least looking forward to is Harper’s surgery, as i know with it will come about 3 months of her not sleeping, I’m going to be blogging her journey (and mine) in her hip cast this year too; that is if I’m even able to function!
The house needs a major decorate, we’ve never decorated anywhere we’ve moved too as we knew we would likely b moving again but looks like we’re here to stay in our current house for some time so it’s time to make a start! First on the list is the living room which I’ve started putting my geeky ideas together for already!
Fitness wise i need to get back to my Clubbercise and also improve my posture, which should in turn help my back muscles, which in turn should help another medical condition I have (it’s an embarrassing one so it’s going to take me some courage to write about it on the blog!)
Lastly I’m going to make sure i spend some time looking after me each week, this is something that i definitely need to do more of, I think it’s something that a lot of us neglect (especially when you’ve got 3 small kids all vying for attention!) What are your goals for 2017?
